We’ve previously shared a blog listing some of the data points that will likely be requested during a sale that are also useful for business owners in day-to-day operations. Some of these data points can be more nuanced or be calculated in different ways. Below, we share how we view some of these data points, why they are important, and how we calculate them during the due diligence phase of a transaction. Note this list is not comprehensive but is meant to give a starting place for owners to start tracking their data.
