Montage Partners Launches Successor President Program™
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Montage Partners, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based private equity firm, has launched a new program to identify and acquire companies in partnership with high-performing professionals who have a desire to lead and grow a company as President and CEO. Each Successor President’s operational experience and leadership skills, together with Montage Partners’ 15-year track record of sourcing, executing, and supporting investments, creates a formidable combination of resources necessary to successfully advance the next phase of a company’s growth.
“Undoubtedly, succession planning is the area we see most often overlooked by founders selling their companies and retiring,” said Rob Wolfman, co-Managing Partner at Montage Partners. “In many cases, founders of even the most successful lower middle-market companies neglect to develop management teams to continue growing after a sale. The creation of the Successor President Program proactively solves for the management succession issue, while also affording a new leader a unique opportunity to continue the successful legacy of a business through accelerated growth with our support.”
Throughout its 15 years of operations, Montage Partners has consistently placed high value on supporting strong management teams in acquiring businesses where founders seek retirement. The creation of the Successor President program reflects the firm’s commitment to formalizing and growing this effort. Successor Presidents will work collaboratively with Montage Partners to develop industry investment themes, and will identify and meet prospective companies utilizing Montage Partners’ extensive network. Montage Partners will lead transaction due diligence and execution of closing workstreams, and will provide the majority of the capital required for acquisitions, with each Successor President retaining a significant equity stake in the acquired business going forward.
Chris Brown, Vice President of Business Development at Montage Partners, explained further, “There are many experienced professionals ready for a change, or who dream of leading a company. At the same time, few have the time to search for the right business or the capital to pay top dollar for an established company. We’re excited to launch this program and help bridge this gap, helping emerging leaders pursue their goals while providing security to existing owners – both financially and figuratively.”
Montage Partners is currently accepting resumes for the Successor President Program. Interested candidates are encouraged to email their resume to rwolfman@montagepartners.com, and visit our Successor President Program page to learn more.
